Play Zone & Basketball Court - Our aviation-themed playground opened to the community in October 2017. It features colourful play structures, a basketball court, a sharing circle and more for all sorts of adventures. Check out our gallery to view photos of our Play Zone or, better yet, come by and try it out yourself!
Urban Forest & Boake’s Grove - Have you visited the forest at Downsview Park? The forest is a beautiful space to explore with a variety of plant species growing in it. Over time, the Urban Forest has become a dynamic and robust ecosystem capable of adjusting to the stresses of an urban landscape.

Learn & connect

We’re an established outdoor education centre. We welcome more than 10,000 teachers, community groups and families from across the province to sustainability-focused programs every year.
Nature Connection - Join us for a FREE outdoor program! Each nature-themed session will get you exploring the natural world that makes Downsview Park unique. This program is family-friendly and suitable for all.
Jr. Forest Explorers - A FREE nature program for toddlers and their guardians. Connect with nature through hands-on outdoor activities. Let’s get those little hands dirty!

Our tenants
