Aerospace Hub

Home to Centennial College’s Bombardier Centre for Aerospace and Aviation and the Ryerson Aerospace Engineering Centre, this hub pays homage to de Havilland’s longstanding aviation history at Downsview.

Did you know?

  • The signage design firm KDA walked more than 150 km while they were developing and creating the new wayfinding program at Downsview Park – that’s more than 40 times around the Circuit Path! 
  • Besides being both durable and beautiful, Ipe wood, used for the majority of the Park’s signs, is resistant to most insects. We all know that insects are good for the Park’s ecosystem, and now we know they won’t be eating the signs!
  • To help you easily navigate and explore all of what Downsview Park has to offer, more than 190 signs will be installed throughout all four regions at the Park.
