Location

Visit Downsview Park's forests and meadows and join our Park Stewardship team to water and mulch newly planted wildflowers and trees. Your care helps these plants establish strong roots and grow into a vibrant, flourishing greenspace.

Newly planted wildflowers and trees need extra care to survive and thrive—especially during dry summer months. Our team will provide watering jugs, mulch and guidance on how to care for native plants. No experience is needed—just bring your energy and love for nature!

We will be working on and off pathways. Participants must be 14 years of age or older.

What to Bring: 

• closed toe shoes (required) 
• sun protection 
• water 
• Gardening gloves (if you have them)
• Long pants and shirt

Please note: Pets are not permitted at this program. Service animals are always welcome. Organized Groups are not permitted. 

French language service is available upon request. Please let us know.
