Have you been feeling overwhelmed with busy schedules? Do you feel burnt out from staring at a screen all day? Join Us at Downsview Park for a forest bathing walk! Led by Certified Forest Therapy Guide Emma Rooney, uncover a deeper relationship with nature as you leave your stress behind.
Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) is a wellness practice that originated in Japan to combat the effects of the technological boom. Inspired by the research in Japan, forest therapy has been adapted to benefit people all over the world. During this outdoor experience, you will be gently guided through the forest as you learn more about the nature connection and its benefits. By getting in touch with your senses, we encourage you to fully immerse yourself in this process. This is a leisurely experience targeted to leave you feeling rejuvenated. With many health benefits associated with forest therapy, we look forward to seeing you at the park!
This is an 18+ event, targeted to help you relax by some time outdoors.
