What to expect:
An interactive read-aloud storytime
Engaging activities related to the monthly theme
A small snack
Sessions designed for children aged 3 to 6 years old or 7 to 9 years old, but everyone is welcome
English sessions are offered from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, with French-language sessions following from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM

Do I need to register? If the program is free, can’t I just drop in?
You need to register for Storytime in the Park. Your registration allows us to share details with you about the session and helps us prepare for the right number of participants.
Can I drop off my child(ren) and pick them up at the end of the session?
This is NOT a drop off program; children must be accompanied by caregivers.
If I can’t make it for the start time or I’m running late, can I still attend?
You’re most welcome to join past our start time, but you’ll have to find us (our programs don’t typically take place in one location). If you know ahead of time that you’ll be joining us late, please give us a heads up at downsvieweducation@clc-sic.ca. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
What happens if I cannot make it to the session I registered for?
If you have registered for a session and are no longer able to attend, please cancel through Eventbrite or email us at downsvieweducation@clc-sic.ca to let us know as soon as possible. We often have long waitlists, so we appreciate the advance notice
What happens in case of cold or inclement weather?
This program takes place outdoors but may transition to a sheltered or covered space in cold or inclement weather. Ensure you and your child(ren) are dressed comfortably and appropriately for the weather.

What level of French are the French-language sessions geared to?
Our French-language sessions are open to anyone of any French level. Whether you're a native speaker, your children are in a Core French, Extended French, French Immersion or Francophone school program, or you are just starting to learn French, we welcome everyone!

Visit our Mini Library at the Play Zone to take a book or share a book!

Pets are not permitted at this program. Service animals are always welcome.
