Stay active this winter! It may be chilly out, but exercising shouldn’t stop just because it’s cold. Downsview Park offers great options to keep you moving during the colder months.
Circuit Path
The Circuit Path will be plowed all winter. This means the path will remain clear and accessible throughout the season. Our exercise stations along the path will be available, but please note the exercise stations will not be plowed due to the rubber flooring.
Do you want to exercise with other people? Join Parkrun for a run, jog, or walk every Saturday at 10:00 AM. Bundle up, get outside, and enjoy winter wellness at the Park with other people in the community!
Indoor Yoga
Join Ti-An for free yoga sessions on select Saturdays at 10am from January to March. The sessions are to take place indoors in the Hub (70 Canuck Ave). All skillsets are invited!
Ti-An DeMartines BFA, RHN, RYT-200 is a Registered Yoga Teacher who wants to spread the joy of yoga to everyone who is called to this beautiful practice. Ti-An’s classes are accessible, gentle, and welcoming to all. They are safe spaces where you can explore your body, mind, and spirit without pressure or judgement! She has had the pleasure of teaching free yoga classes in Downsview Park since 2022, and has loved sharing yoga with all the wonderful people in this great community.
Ti-An also offers mood-boosting classes and workshops to help with stress, anxiety and other mental health issues using yoga, art-making and holistic nutrition.
