Join Volunteer Park Stewards and help establish native plants that support vibrant greenspaces. Downsview Park will be providing shovels and bags as needed. We will be working on and off pathways. Participants must be 14 years of age or older.
What to Bring:
• closed toe shoes (required)
• sun protection
• water
• Gardening gloves
• Long pants and shirt
Location:
Please meet Downsview Park volunteers outside the Discovery Centre (back of 70 Canuck Avenue, close to the greenhouses). Outdoor washrooms are in the Parking lot of 70 Canuck.
Please note: Pets are not permitted at this program. Service animals are always welcome. Organized Groups are not permitted.
Please note that this session will be held only in English.
This material in this program is geared towards adults. Participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
