Have you ever wondered about the day-to-day operations of Downsview Park? Better yet, have you ever asked yourself:
- Who runs Downsview Park?
- Who designs Downsview Park’s education programs?
- Who plans Downsview Park’s free community events?
- How will you be improving the Park?
- How can I get involved?
- What are the Park rules? Are they the same as the City’s?
- Who do I talk to if I have a question or concern about the Park?
If you have, we have great news! Join us for a Park update and help us understand your Park interests. We’ll be holding our biannual community meeting on Wednesday, May 31 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Please join us! 😊
Engaging our community
Our goal with these meetings is to be your go-to source for information on all things Downsview Park (updates on improvement projects, upcoming events, etc.). We also want to hear what you have to say and better understand how we can keep you informed.
Who exactly are we?
We’re members of the Attractions division at Canada Lands Company, the Crown corporation that owns and operates Downsview Park. Our team is comprised of many dedicated people in education, events and communications, and property management among others.
How can I benefit by attending?
You will receive answers to the above questions and more. You’ll be the first to know about all the exciting things we’re doing at the Park, and you’ll be able to help us better understand our community.
Where will the meeting take place? What will we discuss?
You can choose to attend this meeting in-person at The Hub (70 Canuck Avenue) or virtually using Microsoft Teams webinar. Registration will be required to attend. You will be able to submit questions through our registration page prior to the meeting.
We’ll begin with an introduction of who we are and what we do, before addressing our regular agenda items as listed above. We will then answer the questions received through the registration page before beginning a live questions and answer period to close the meeting.
