Program Instructor, Education & Community
• I studied education at the University of South Africa for education levels called "senior and further education and training phases" in South Africa, but is simply called "senior levels" here. I do not mind if you use either to describe it. My focus subjects were: Biology , Psychology and English. Minors were: Art History and Technology. I taught Biology to Grade 10 to 12 students back in South Africa.
• Hiking, kayaking, travelling (mostly travelled to other African countries, including Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, Mozambique and Botswana) and photography geared towards travel and nature of course.
• Baobab tree, native to Africa. There is only a very small number of seedlings that actually survive, but if they do, they are really resilient. They grow up to 30 meters high and can reach an astonishing 50 meters in circumference. To top that, they can live up to 5000 years long... so crazy cool tree.
• I have a grey cat named Minx. She is fiesty, playful and absolutely adorable.
