Program Instructor, Education
• Graduated From / Roles: I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2018, and am involved in a number of community organizations around Toronto, including SCI AIDE, a grassroots initiative I founded with friends to bring marginalized folks closer to science. On the side, I also ethically wrangle sharks for research, usher at various theatres, and seek out herps (amphibians and reptiles).
• Favourite Plants and Trees: I am quite partial to junipers and willows, but I have a special attachment to the horse chestnuts of Downsview Park! I'm also a fan of orchids, violets, and lily of the valley.
• Free Time: When I'm not at Downsview Park, you can catch me writing stories, singing songs, playing games, or trying to learn a new skill.
Fun Facts:
• (Silly) You can easily win me over with some good food. This is an invitation to surprise me with food. (Brownies are almost always a safe bet.)
• (Real) I've held a number of wild jobs and different roles, from voice actor to government librarian; TV livestream director to event game master; healthcare worker to tree planter. I'm happy to chat about any of my previous experiences!
