A place to come together to grow and share native plants.

New Beginnings - November 2024 Update
We are excited to announce the Downsview Park Volunteer Greenhouse, a brand-new initiative, just getting started! This project aims to create a vibrant community space where volunteers and community members can connect, learn, and contribute to the growth and preservation of native plants. As we embark on this journey, we invite you to be part of our founding volunteer team and help shape the future of this green oasis.

There are many ways to be part of the Greenhouse Volunteer Team. Greenhouse Volunteers, with the support of Park staff, are essential for providing access to the space for themselves and others. Greenhouse Volunteers are also the backbone of caring for plants by watering and protecting them from pests. Lastly, Greenhouse Volunteers welcome members of the public to the greenhouse space during community workshops and community drop-in times.
