Join Rewilders and Downsview Park volunteers for a hands-on native plant potting-up session at the Downsview Park Volunteer Greenhouse.
Saturday, May 16 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Downsview Park Volunteer Greenhouse
Participants will help pot up native plant plugs that will be grown out for Downsview Park restoration projects, and Rewilders pollinator habitat gardens. This is a great opportunity to learn more about native plants, habitat restoration, and greenhouse growing in a casual, community-oriented setting.
Botanist Ryan Godfrey (WWF) will also be on hand to help answer questions throughout the afternoon.
No experience is necessary. Participants will also be able to take home a few native plants.
Pets are not permitted at this program. Service animals are always welcome.
Please note this program is intended for individuals and families. Organized groups should book here.
All ages are welcome but those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
