Join us for an evening walk through Downsview Park. Together we will explore the Park after dark, noticing how visibility, temperature, and sound change as daytime conditions fade. Along the way, we’ll look at how plants and wildlife respond to these shifts—for example, many nocturnal animals have adaptations like larger eyes, heightened hearing, or specialized behaviours that help them find food and navigate in low light. This program offers a hands-on way to experience the park as a nighttime habitat and better understand the adaptations that support forest life after dark.
All ages are welcome but those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note this program is intended for individuals and families. Organized groups should book here.
Pets are not permitted at this program. Service animals are always welcome.
