Winter is on the way, and the plants and animals of Downsview Park’s urban forest are busy getting ready. Join us as we explore the park to discover how wildlife prepares for the colder months ahead. Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, we'll learn which animals store food, which birds soar south for the winter, and which creatures settle in for a long winter rest. Along the way, we'll look for signs of the season and uncover the fascinating ways plants and animals survive (and thrive!) during the winter. This program is a chance to connect with nature, build curiosity and see how the urban forest prepares for winter.

Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
