Program length:
Each program is 2 hours; groups can choose two programs for a full day session. Full day sessions include a 30–60 minute break.

*Add-ons are additional costs and are subject to availability. If you are looking for a space to host any additional meetings or social time for your team, the Orchard Pavilion and The Hub can be booked separately. Plantings have additional material costs.
Group size: There is a minimum of 15 participants, or equivalent fee. Most sessions can host up to 50 participants. Ask about availability for your larger group.
Stewardship in the Park
Eco-challenge! Work as team to help Downsview Park's biodiversity. Groups will be participating in stewardship tasks to improve our greenspace. See what lasting impact your team can have.
Photo Orienteering
Brush up on your orienteering skills. Learn how to use a compass and compete against friends and/or colleagues in a compass challenge. Explore the Sesqui Trail using a compass and map to find your path to victory!
Downsview Park Scavenger Hunt
The race is on! Small teams must journey around the Park to complete a series of group photo challenges while competing against colleagues.
Outdoor Cooperative Games
Challenge your team in a series of fun outdoor activities that encourage teamwork, creative thinking and problem-solving.
Campfire Challenge
Teambuilding around the fire. Learn campcraft skills and work in small groups to put your learning into action through a team challenge. After the competition relax as a group and enjoy a little treat.
Art in the Park
Unleash your inner artist. Participate in this relaxing program where we combine art and nature. Explore the relationship between art and land through a variety of activities.
Introduction to Birding
Take a stroll with us and learn how to identify common birds of Toronto and participate in some community science along the way.
Natural History Tour (Nature Walk)
Join us for a walk! Every walk is different, and you never know what you will see along the way. Learn about the history of the site and explore some of the amazing things growing and living in it now. This program can be tailored to group interests.
Tree Identification Challenge
Team building and naturalist skills unite in this forest challenge. Small groups must locate marked trees in the Urban Forest and use materials provided to identify what they find. Compete against other groups for the Canopy Crown!
