The Hangar: TournamentsDownsview Park Championship Cup Soccer Tournament, Summer 2010
Join us for the 1st Annual Championship Cup, a single elimination soccer tournament for adult league soccer teams—destined to find the best in Downsview Park. The tournament is offered as an added bonus to all of Downsview Park's valued teams, to battle amongst the league's best. This is a unique opportunity for teams to play others outside of their division. Registration is ONLY $100 per team. Registration deadline - Extended to July 15. Starting July 17, each team will play one game. Opponents will be drawn randomly. Only the winning team from each game will advance to play the following weekend. Competition continues in this manner until one champion remains! The Downsview Park Championship Cup winner will receive the honour of their team name engraved on the Championship Cup Trophy displayed in The Hangar Grill. The winning team also receives free entry to next year's tournament, to defend their title.
