Site Improvements to the Downsview Park Sports Centre

A fourth outdoor field at the Downsview Park Sports Centre is under construction to complement the three outdoor fields built last year. This new field will accommodate football and soccer, and will ultimately provide for a 400-metre running track in a future phase. The base field construction will be completed by early 2010 with installation of the artificial grass in spring 2010.

Design work has been completed for a changeroom and washroom pavilion. The pavilion will be the first new park building within the Downsview Park Sports Centre and is designed to a minimum LEED Silver standard.
