Request for Tenders, Parc Downsview Park Inc., Bridge Works - Spring 2010

Parc Downsview Park Inc. is a federal agent Crown corporation, established to design, develop and maintain Downsview Park on a self-financing basis.

The scope of work is the fabrication and installation of a pedestrian/light vehicle bridge and a cantilevered boardwalk feature.

Tender documents will be available on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, after 10:00 am at:

Tender documents will be available in both official languages as requested.

A non-compulsory site meeting for bidders will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, starting at the aforementioned address. Before bidding, the contractor is responsible to examine the site and the nature of all conditions affecting the performance of the work.

Responses must be received at the aforementioned address by 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 18, 2010. Late bids will not be accepted.

The tender will be reviewed as to the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder. The lowest, or any, tender will not necessarily be accepted.
